Your Place in Space: Exploring Space Force Careers

In celebration of “Find Your Place in Space” Week (April 6-13, 2024), join Air and Space STEM Outreach for a virtual panel with members of the U.S. Space Force who will share their space career journeys and how they found “their place in space”.

Key Questions:

  • What inspired our speakers to join the Space Force?

  • What space career options are available in the Space Force?

  • What type of education or training do you need for these careers?

  • What does a typical workday look like?

Expected Outcomes:

  • Students will be able to give examples of space-related careers in the Space Force.

  • Students will gain awareness of the education and training required to work in space careers in the Space Force.

  • Students will be able to describe a typical day and what skills are needed for space careers.
